On this edition of Open Church Talk, Fr. Andrew Summerson S. Th. D., Assistant Professor of Greek Patristics at the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Institute and Pastor of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Whiting, Indiana joins Zhyve TV’s Julian Hayda for a discussion on a special liturgical conference coming up in Chicago.

Scholars of Greek, Syriac, and Latin liturgical music traditions will gather at the University of Chicago to discuss ways in which historical musical approaches aid in worship today. That’s thanks to a remarkable grant from the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship to the Sheptytsky Institute of Eastern Christian Studies.
